School Rules
Can I remind parents of children in Key Stage 2 to make an appointment if they want to speak to a teacher. Parents should not come into school either in the morning or evening and go to the classroom to see the teacher without an appointment or asking Mrs Atkin if the teacher is available. Teachers are busy before school and they often have commitments and meetings after school.

Famous Scientists
Read on ! We have renamed each class after a famous scientist:
Reception – Alexander Bell
Class 1 – Thomas Eddison
Class 2 – Sir Isaac Newton
Class 3 – Marie Curie
Class 4 – Alexander Flemming
Class 5 – Archimedes
Your child should be able to tell you what made their scientist famous!
This year is ‘The National Year of Reading’ and so we have a lot of activities planned to encourage children to read. Watch out for these over the next few months as well as activities in your local library.
